Alex’s beloved restaurant has many unique qualities that other sushi restaurants in Utah do not posses. One of the qualities he is most proud of is the fact that his restaurant has the only known genuine “Wagyu Beef-Kobe Beef” in Utah. He is also proud of the infamous “HELL FIRE Roll”, which has become known throughout the state as one of the hottest sushi rolls around and lead to the “HELL FIRE Challenge”.

Alex’s hard work has made his establishment a favorite to many in the community and even caught the attention of the media. In March of 2009, Alex demonstrated how to make a Kobe Beef Roll on Channel 2 News. Next, one of the biggest surprises, was when the popular TV show “Man VS Food” caught a glimpse of Alex’s talent on the internet. The show filmed on location at Kobe Sushi in February 2010 when Adam faced the HELL FIRE Challenge and finished the 7th level of the HELL FIRE Roll. The show aired during the summer of 2010 season with Alex as a local celebrity.

Today, Alex runs his restaurant with the discipline and attention to detail that he learned from his practice of the martial arts. His passion and skill can be seen in the dishes he creates as his love of art produces the highest quality sushi in Salt Lake City.
